International Monarch Monitoring Blitz

Join thousands of people from across Canada, Mexico, and the United States to support monarch butterfly conservation! During a 10-day period from July 28th through August 6th , The International Monarch Monitoring Blitz invites people to look for monarchs and milkweed plants and examine them for monarch eggs, caterpillars, and chrysalises. The data collected helps researchers answer key questions about monarch butterflies so that conservationists can identify and prioritize actions to conserve the species.
